Barring any unforeseen QA hiccups, the Podium Directory is going to benefit from a minor follow up release by the end of this week. We’re addressing  a series of issues and enhancement requests reported by clients after the Podium 6.2 Directory and My Contacts Release, which went live on June 29th, 2011.

Updates include:

  • Addition of  Child’s Grade and Child’s Grad Year Filters. This will enable Users to find Parents of Students enrolled in a particular Grade or with a certain Grad Year.
  • Addition of a Zip Code filter. Among other things, this will make organizing car pools easier.
  • Ability to conduct a combined First Name and Last Name keyword search.
  • Ability to search on hyphenated names.
  • The option to turn off sample results from auto-populating in the directory before a search has been conducted.

Complete Release Notes, documentation and video tutorials will be made available in the Help Center.
